HaShadchan (השדכן)
A supervised matchmaking initiative for the Israeli Haredi community, led by Rabbi Yehoshua Eichenstein and Rabbi Amram Fried. It is built around parents: they get access to a supervised matchmaking database, on the idea that parents know their children's needs best. It combines a phone line with a digital platform, under rabbinic guidance on modesty and information security. Israeli press reports 21,000+ registrants and 300+ homes built.
